Why not OBS?
Anybody have any good suggestions for recording audio and visuals besides OBS? I want to record my WoW Gameplay when I'm streaming Shadowlands (so it doesn't pick up my audio).

I'm using OBS during the stream. Can't OBS twice as far as I know.

I know this is fairly old (as in, hasn't been updated in years), and it has the flaw of creating GIGANTIC recording files, but maybe Fraps could work. I still use it over OBS when I record in ModelViewer, and as a back-up in case OBS fails.

Think about Fraps that I remember is that it doesn't go over a minute for the free version.

Best way I've done it is to separate and place your mic audio and your game audio into two different tracks within OBS. That way, when you go to edit later, you just mute or toss out your microphone's track.

Nvidia shadowplay, which you have access to if you have an Nvidia graphics card .

If you are using SLOBS you can set it so your microphone audio is only heard by your stream and not the video recording. Pretty sure OBS Studio still hasnt implemented that feature

I use/prefer Xsplit but I have lifetime premium. Nothing as good as OBS for free imo. You could get Virtual Audio Cables and/or Voicemeeter Banana/Potato to reroute your audio so that OBS doesn’t pick it up and have more control over where your audio is going overall.
