Ah in that case idk what to say lore is subjective for the most part. Wrath is definitely when lore started to take off imo I just have a lot of respect for Classic since it built the foundations and as I said, you're a mere recruit/adventurer and work your way up.
I will say I enjoy WoW when it's not about the player-character & more about the actual legit characters in Warcraft (like Thrall, Rexxar, Jaina, etc). But I really just didn't find Classic's story even remotely interesting. People who like it? Power to them but it's not for me.

I respect it. I like both approaches to some degree, but just when the PC is addressed as a simple adventurer rather than the Grand Champion/Hero/Prophet/Thing That Keeps the World Spinning and Keeps Us From Walking Stupidly Into Walls Head-First.
