I just got round to playing Classic and imo the lore is way better than BFA's. The Stormwind politics is great, a vast diversity in enemies and some very interesting stories. You also aren't the big important champion, just a random adventurer, I prefer that.
I don't really like the Classic Lore at all. Sorry mate. None of it is relevant or leaves a lasting impact on me at all. I still feel sad about Varok. Can't say the same about anyone who dies in Classic.

Fair but obviously Classic was the first expansion, you haven't built that connection with any characters yet unless you played Warcraft. It's about building the foundation and what a great foundation it built, unfortunately Blizzard have pretty much used it up.

I played Warcraft 3 and Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. Classic still didn't impact me that much. Personally the story in WoW honestly really didn't start for me until Wrath of the Lich King. That's when I started caring about it and enjoying it. Unlike Classic and TBC.
