Shadowlands Spoilers: A Mantid was confirmed to enter the Shadowlands and then leave it. This confirms that Old God made creations (like the Naga, Nerubian, etc) can go to the Shadowlands when they die. Hope this means we'll see Anub'arak at some point.pic.twitter.com/XBV3zPFuSi

Also, they said they allowed the mantid to return to life to defeat the necromancer because he was upsetting the balance, is that how the spirit healer/corpse walking works for the player and they don’t go to oribos lore wise?

Naga were already confirmed since Lady Vashj was in since the beginning. And Naga are just night elves who were transformed by N’zoth. They aren’t exactly a fresh race created by the old gods out of the void.

But they were corrupted by an Old God into being Naga. Confirming that even beings corrupted or converted by the Old Gods can go to the Shadowlands. Also, some Naga were born as Naga as we do have hatcheries.
