Huh, good to know, I was not aware of this until now. I am farming the daily cooking marks there, to get the apron and the pen and wooden roll item, and very occasionally giving the followers the accurate gifts for them, but not made best friend with any specific ones
It's something I have been working on recently since I never got all of my Tiller Reputations up and I want to get my Apron as well.

Don't forget to train Nomi aswell (In pandaria the little pandaren cub, and do the dailies with him). It requires an achivement to unlock the chance to buy the apron for example. You can buy the bell for 50 token in the cooking seller.
