I can kinda understand Forsaken players being unhappy about the racial identity feeling stripped away at least. The banner's an easy fix, just knock over all of them. Ghouls are swarming the place aren't they?
Nah. That's not really the point of them knocking down their own banner. The Forsaken lore-wise are *SUPPOSED* to feel agited to the banner and Sylvanas as a whole. This would be like if Orcs got upset over trash talking Garrosh. Like really?

That I can also understand. What I would like to see is them changing the banner at least, would be a nice visual cultural development like how they got their own architecture post-Wrath rather than relying on the rotting buildings.

Could be set-up for the story of their heritage armor set. At the current point, the Forsaken lore-wise may very well be facing an identity crisis with Sylvanas gone. Likely leading to a storyline of them forging a new identity with a new banner.

Would it be like that? Garrosh faction leader of the Orcs for one expansion compared to Sylvanas who’s been apart of the game and a character people have been attached to before even WoW is the same thing?

Garrosh was Leader of the Orcs for Two Expansions. And it still applies very much so.
