potentially hot take but i think the fallen forsaken banner on PTR is a nice detail looking into the tumultuous politics of the forsaken identity after sylvanas' betrayal at the mak'gora

It shows that the Forsaken are growing into something that the Horde can trust and benefit from. I don't think the Forsaken would realistically be able to function in the Horde if they were still yearning for Sylvanas.

*the 10 years where the Forsaken were completely dutiful to the horde suddenly becomes distrust when they start winning battles* hmm I'm noticing a problem with basing a game on a faction war that they also want to morally condemn

The Forsaken weren't exactly completely dutiful to the Horde though? They were dutiful to Sylvanas. There were times when they were like, "For the Horde!" but at the end of the day if Sylvanas told them to backstab the Horde they would. This is a change for the better.

But you can only frame it that way in retrospect. Typically all npcs are loyal to their faction leaders first. Just look at the belves. If Thrall did what Garrosh did he probably would have had more Orcs side with him. Garrosh just lacked political support because he was new.

The vast majority of the Orcs did side with Garrosh though about 80% of them and it was mainly the younger generation of orcs. The Forsaken have always been framed as, "Sylvanas first. Horde second." which is why Reckoning was a refreshing take on them.

>Blood elves & Forsaken having a higher reputation with each other than the rest of the horde since BC< hmm

I'm not particularly sure what you are getting at here. Yes, the Sin'dorei and the Forsaken are more intuned to their own people than their own faction. But they've also shown far more loyalty over the years as time has gone on.

So why does that logic apply to the Sin'dorei but not the Forsaken? Belves haven't contributed to the horde significantly more than the Forsaken

Doesn't particularly matter who's "contributed more" the Forsaken have been in the Horde longer so of course they've contributed more. The problem being the Sin'dorei have never backstabbed the Horde (aka the Wrathgate).

If putress earns that much scorn I'm curious when orcs are going to re-prove themselves to be dutiful to the horde after garrosh
