potentially hot take but i think the fallen forsaken banner on PTR is a nice detail looking into the tumultuous politics of the forsaken identity after sylvanas' betrayal at the mak'gora

I'm not particularly sure what you are getting at here. Yes, the Sin'dorei and the Forsaken are more intuned to their own people than their own faction. But they've also shown far more loyalty over the years as time has gone on.

So why does that logic apply to the Sin'dorei but not the Forsaken? Belves haven't contributed to the horde significantly more than the Forsaken

Doesn't particularly matter who's "contributed more" the Forsaken have been in the Horde longer so of course they've contributed more. The problem being the Sin'dorei have never backstabbed the Horde (aka the Wrathgate).
