I know I'm playing it mostly off as a joke but seriously for all the hate BfA gets (some of it earned, some of it not-so-much) I rather liked this expansion. Definitely could've been better but it also could've been a lot worse too.

Honestly despite its shortcomings, BfA was kinda special to me if only because I started playing near the end of Legion and BfA is my first expansion I've seen beginning to end, and Vol'dun is really one of my favorite zones.

You say that cause you only play stuff for the story and don't do any of the high-level content, BfA was a horrendous trainwreck of an xpac, it fully deserves 90% of the criticism it gets

That's definitely the 100% the reason why. The gameplay of BfA was definitely the worst part. But the story I enjoyed quite a bit. Vice versa with Legion I loved the gameplay but wasn't the biggest fan of the story.

Also, I enjoy most things so i’m often confused by criticism of things, unless said medium is just downright terrible. I know WoW had ups and downs but sometimes I wonder just how much is mob mentality mixed with unreal expectations and just pure addiction and playing too much.

It definitely had it's up sides! It's not the WORST expansion like a lot of people act like, obviously it's had it's issues but I liked it enough!

I PvPed at the start of BfA mainly for the rewards but I fell off it pretty quickly when I realized I really couldn't go that hard at PvP at that point. I at least managed to get a few mounts. But as a simpler answer I don't PvP at the moment.

I deeply loved the first patch! The zones designs and vibes were so good! I just got disappointed that the faction war wasn't pushed more during the two following patches... However I'm only playing casually, so can't really give an opinion about gameplay itself

Jaina, Varok, and Wrathion were the best parts of this entire expansion. And I wish we got more of each of them honestly.
