I always preferred the one where you couldn't see his face. The Lich King being this faceless inhuman monster was more frightening.
Definitely there with you. Made him far more threatening and badass when you couldn't see the purple face that was Arthas behind it.

Ditto for me too. He was so much scarier with the darkened face. It's made scarier when he "chases" you through Halls of Reflection.
