I’ve yet to hear a single solitary reason why this expansion was any good. The story was practically non-existent and what did botched numerous major lore characters, zones were mostly reskinned deserts, and the final raid was considered nearly unplayable.

The design philosophies and raiding overall was what a lot of people liked. Also it vastly improved a lot of the talent trees and Introduced arena and a bunch of other things that were staple parts of the game for a while

The good about was blood elves, and I would say the introduction to Garrosh...though everything else was bonkers...and it was my first foray into WoW! Even I can admit its way overrated.
