Venthyr. His intentions were never pure or selfless.
Spoilers!: Vash'j did end up in Maldraxxus and none of what she did was exactly "good". I'm still surprised she of all people ended up there. At least when it comes to Illidan he wants to stop the Legion and protect Azeroth no matter the cost even if it's just for Tyrande.

You can have redeeming qualities and still fall short with intentions. Illidan's care for Tyrande, hell obsession, has driven in borderline selfishness than selflessness. Especially earlier on. Then there's his desires for power and magic, which have always been his drive.

I wonder if the Legion aligned with those goals in his eyes (Tyrande and Power), would've he been so protective of Azeroth then?
