The only way I feel like a "Sylvanas Redemption Story" could work is if her death is the redemption and she sacrifices herself to do something good. Not on the same level of Kerrigan but more like Garad or Grommash for an example.

I doubt she has a redemption story. From the plotlines they've done with her, they're setting Sylvanas up for getting what she deserves.

Like, they wanted her to be redeemed, there would have been an attempt to humanize her which never happened. She created the New Plague, abandoned her people and the Horde, and ordered the burning Teldrassil in the name of keeping herself alive. There's nothing to redeem there.

There was no going back after Teldrassil. People bring up Varok Saurfang a lot and go, "Why did he get it?" because he never wanted an incident like Teldrassil just a "Good War" which he now realizes is a bunch of BS entirely. There are no good wars which was Varok's arc.

I think the biggest and largest step for any redemption arcs is the character wants to be redeemed or work towards it in some capacity. If the character who committed so many horrible things doesn't want redemption what's the point?

Exactly. Her entire character was 'revenge against Arthas at any cost', then it was 'surviving at any cost'. Both of those are nonredeemable.

Or unredeemable? Whichever.

Often times in stories like her's you have characters who extend their hands out and say, "There's a better way." Sylvanas has had those chances so many times with the Horde and instead, she chose her own path. It wasn't like the Horde dropped her - she dropped them.

Again, that just proves there's nothing redeemable with her. She's destined to die, join Arthas in their special hell, and get what's been coming.

It just doesn't fit well thematically with the story they've been telling with her. If they wanted a redemption arc BfA would have to have been told to us very differently.

Which is why I'm not worried about the idea that she'll be redeemed. She's not - in any way - set up for it so why do it?
