Much of the narrative confusion about Garrosh could be fixed if you simply replaced his appearance in Stonetalon with Varok Saurfang.
I feel like that might make it more confusing considering he's mourning Draenosh during Cataclysm.

I'd argue it might be MORE poignant if he pulled himself out of mourning for a brief moment because he learned about Krom'gar's dishonorable tactics and couldn't stand for it.

I think it's also that I just really like this single one moment for Garrosh and it showed his rule of Warchief during the Cata era.
