I'm worried about the reasons why more so than anything here. Is it because its a no-no word or because they don't like Sylvanas specifically being called a bitch because she's their dear character.

No.. it’s b/c it’s sexist. I don’t think it should be taken out, but if she was a dude no one would be calling her a bitch. They’d be calling her strong willed, that she speaks her mind, she’s calculating &straightforward. But she’s a woman, so she’s just over emotional & a bitch

It fits that Garrosh would say it, 100%. But Steve himself said it was unnecessary. And yes, she is a beloved character. She’s a woman who breaks those stupid stereotypes, & because of that all the sexists like to come out of the woodwork to get angry about it.

Sylvanas isn't exactly someone should be looking up to. Woman or not. The same goes for Garrosh you shouldn't look up to him either. They're both bad apples.

It’s a game. No ones out here calling her a role model. Saying some of her story is relatable? Yes. But overall she’s a bad ass chaotic neutral character with her own set of motivations and morals. An anti heroine. But since she’s a chick, people act like the world is ending.pic.twitter.com/SU7EDNZ0Oo

It's a bit much to call her an anti-heroine at this point. She's definitely a villain after her actions in Battle for Azeroth.

Nope. Read the blurb again^ She has an end goal and she’s doing anything to get there. People like to focus on the tree but ignore many many many other horrible things that others have done in WoW. Because, you know, blue lady bad.

You're ignoring what she's been doing just like you believe people are ignoring what other characters have done. By your own definition of what an anti-hero or in this case anti-heroine she is after some sort of justice. What she's after right now is immortality.

You have no idea what she’s after. My definition explicitly says that sometimes downright horrible and evil things are done on that path. I fully accept what she did. What people don’t accept is that the game is called World of WARCRAFT & burning a city down isn’t exactly a leap.

That's what an ANTAGONIST does to a city. Not an anti-hero. Just because the game is called "World of Warcraft" and that yeah war happens doesn't excuse her actions. Every lore character reacted to her action negatively for the most part and its viewed as one of her worst deeds.

So much so that Sylvanas is constantly getting compared to Arthas. That was the whole point of her Warbringer to show how much she had fallen to show us that She's now just like the man who ruined her. She's now damning kingdoms where ever she walks just as he did.

Warbringers showed us her past. It showed us that she exists with no hope, and it’s why Delaryn was crying for her. Many things that both antagonists and protagonists do overlap with what antiheroes do. That’s why it’s called gray.
