I agree, but as a new player with no concept of the game or how often those words are used it set a real negative tone. And that’s basically the first questing area for a new Horde player on EK.
Fair enough but given the fact they're changing so much of the leveling process I don't think many players are going to go there now. They still might of course but I think it'll help in some regard.

That is true. A good point raised by others is “why now?” And I think that’s fair to ask! Seems weird to leave it for 10 years. Just like...very surprising.
