I gotta be honest, the fact that they were nameless is something that bothers me about fantasy often. Nameless, )and often killed off-screen) women characters. Roux giving them names is what they deserve.
I think the thing is Metzen did leave a name for Thrall's daughter but he wasn't sure if anyone was gonna use it. But beyond that, I think its good to give nameless characters names.

Absolutely. You just see all too often characters from all genres really being like "my late wife" or "my girlfriend", but you never learn their names. It's the whole cardboard cut-out victim thing.

I literally took a time out of my day to give Ban'orak's whole family tree their various names for both the men and the ladies. The only one I didn't give a name too was the Ogre Woman but that was intentional since none of them wanted to know the name of their abuser.pic.twitter.com/nkyy7vJY2G
