Who in their right minds is angry that the Horde lost Darkshore? It was never ours to begin with. Arathi I find way more understandable because you've got Forsaken, Orcs and some trolls who have claim to it. But Darkshore? Nah that's the Kaldorei rightfully.

Me. My character I lost his city, his queen, his lab and a metric ton of blight to try to help the orcs conquer Kalimdor - and despite one-upping the burning legion Kalimdor did not fell to the might of the horde. Having the Defilers have such a minor role in Arathi is a crime.

The Kaldorei lost their city and love ones and they can't get them back. Lordaeron is still salvageable. Blight is... well a blight on this world. The Legion wasn't defeated solely by the Horde but by the unity of the Alliance, Horde, Classes, and the Army of the Light.

Two points I need to make - 1 Even if by the scale of the game Brill/Tirisfall is nowhere nearly as large as compared to Darkshore before going to Teldrassil - I believe they are meant to evoke the same feelings of loss. I mean this without disrespect to any party.pic.twitter.com/H9f4iHKYSd

2 - Well, technically speaking both could be salvaged - the problem for Kaldorei players is that the salvaged lost ones became Kaldorei Dark Rangers. Salvaging the forsaken loved ones doesn't have such a negative connotation - I guess with Calia we could open a can of worms..

Most of the Dark Rangers that Sylvanas raises are people who died outside of Teldrassil. The bodies inside the tree are not retrievable considering how badly the entire tree was burned.
