Just because you love or like an aesthetic doesn't mean it should stick around when it makes no sense lorewise. I adored the Iron Horde and Garrosh aesthetics but it makes sense for the Horde to let those go with him gone.

Agreed. I never liked the blight and kinda annoyed that Sylvanas kept it.

It's incredibly problematic. I really don't think anyone on the Horde Council will ever approve of its use including Lilian Voss. It would make sense for someone like Sylvanas to use it still because nothing is holding her back anymore.

The trick with a lot of the dubious forsaken stuff is it was supposed to be somewhat secret.

And that was a big reason and importance of the Wrathgate and Battle for Undercity. It was a revelation for the rest of the Horde and the Alliance on just what Sylvanas and the Forsaken were cooking in the Undercity. That's why both sides took action in their own ways.

Not gonna lie, I was surprised that there's a blight cart in Dalaran. I know that it's probably just for the aesthetics, but idk

The opening Horde quests in Stormheim *literally* had you salvaging blight barrels that spilled on the way. It was very clearly and obviously part of the way Sylvanas' Horde conducted warfare and it was throughout the expansion. It totally made sense to have munitions there imho.

Possibly because the blight destroys the land, which magic doesn't necessarily do. Summoning an earthquake is gonna create destruction but it's still somewhat natural, unlike the blight
