Because of Ban'orak's old age I imagine he at times wears half of what remains of glasses to read books or messages, etc. Since you know he only has the one good eye.

Ban'orak's right eye is his only good eye. Technically he does have a replacement for the eye he lost after the Wrathgate but it's moreso an "Eyes of the Beast" tool that he can see through his beasts eyes.
