We still have to remember: the majority of the Forsaken were from Lordaeron. The Menethil's are the rightful rulers of Lordaeron and there were a lot of Forsaken who would happily take Calia because of her lineage. There's a reason why Sylvanas saw her as a threat to her rule.

Wouldn't it work the other way though? Like, for now the living see the forsaken as mosters. Wouldn't the presence of the forsaken in the alliance be a thing that helps them to adapt and not having all the forsaken who knows where unless it's a war?
That really wasn't the case for the races in the Horde though. Thrall didn't have to join the Alliance to prove the orcs were good. Baine didn't either. I think it makes more sense for Calia to stand with Forsaken in the Horde who made so many mistakes.

For most regular people orcs are not good,. I just see way more interesting opportunities with Calia in the alliance, and things she could offer in the horde, like listening to sad story and offering a therapy hug, is not what would show the player what it's like to be forsaken.

Well, what Sylvanas was doing before wasn't exactly healthy for them either. It's an extremely confusing and hard time for the Forsaken right now as a whole.
