I don't think a character is interesting depending on whether they're good or bad. They're interesting on what they do or act in a story. A character that demeans you and is constantly berating you isn't fun or interesting to me. Sorry, Sylvanas and Nathanos fans.

Please, I'd love to hear your explanation for how Helya never once thinking to vocalize what Odyn did to her to anyone in the entirety of Legion is smart writing. Not even once.
That's not something I've ever thought about and it makes me go, "Huh that is weird she never did that." but it doesn't come off as "bad writing" to me either. Helya doesn't come off to me as the one begging for pity she comes off as the type to vent her frustrations on others.

You're telling me she'd happily watch us aid Odyn and not even ONCE try and sway our perspective on him to potentially weaken his allegiances? But then she'll do other things to try and screw Odyn over? You don't see how much of a dissonance that is?
