Not particularly a "fun fact" but a fact none the less. Ban'orak didn't fully participate in the War of Thorns as he was busy defending a Horde outpost in Descolace. However, his son and grandson were. His grandson was killed in battle too in Darkshore. (1/4)
Ban'orak basically had to race over and hear that his eldest grandchild died and then Teldrassil was set ablaze afterward. His son wanted vengeance for the loss of his firstborn while Ban'orak stood in horror at Teldrassil's burning. (2/4)
As he raced over to the tree four Wardens tried to tail him and either captured or slay him, they weren't very clear. He didn't kill them but was forced to beat them very badly. So some reports would probably mistakenly say he participated either in the Horde or Alliance. (3/4)
