It's kind of aggravating (no pun intended) that we were introduced to her thru a book. If we were to have gotten to know her in game then it would be a different story. She's basically a female Garrosh that is hard traditional and teaches Thrall of his roots.

That could have worked in game thru a questline of learning Orcish culture and history and would have cemented her as an important lore character connecting the new horde values with the old. But as she is now she is just an accessory to Thrall to make him look good.
