Also the confirmation that Vashj WAS originally turned back into a Night Elf upon arriving in the Shadowlands but chose to become a Naga again in Maldraxxus. Super interesting. That was something I was super curious about. So even the Old God corruption is undone there.
Considering they had the Empress appear in the Shadowlands during Legion. Then this with Vash'j makes me think Old God created creatures are capable of going to the Shadowlands. Here's hoping Anub'erak can get some love then.

I'm fine with that but a distinction should be made that might explain why he isnt. The Aqir (Which become the Nerubians) weren't anything before and then transformed into Aqir. They were birthed by the Old Gods, basically void creatures. They dont seem to go to the Shadowlands

Vashj was a Night Elf so it makes sense she reverts to her original form when going into the afterlife, and Maldraxxus (more than any other, even Bastion) is all about changing/perfecting/honing your form, so it makes sense she could become a Naga again. I donno about Aqir tho
