Cloud Serpents are not named "Cloud Dragons" they're serpents and have been serpents for the longest time. Sure they're a lot like dragons but they're not. A good example are Chimeras and/or Rylaks they're a lot like dragons but they're not exactly dragons either.
Exactly! I know they were refereed to as dragons by the dragonmaw but they clearly AREN'T dragons. While Thunderscale dragons aren't part of a flight they are still actually dragons whereas cloud serpents have ALWAYS been animals. It's just really silly to me honestly
