The Warcraft Movie is such an oddity. Apparently, so many people didn't like it. Sure it has its problems but I honestly really enjoyed it.

Anything with orcs (except making orgrim a frostwolf?) was amazing. Anything with humans... not so much. Tale of two movies.

The movie should have leaned into the orcs, given them about 75% focus. Then, in a potential sequel, flip the perspective to the humans/alliance for the second war. "History is written by the victors" etc. etc.

That's the funny thing! I know in my experience a lot of the people I know who massively poopoo'd on the movie haven't actually *seen* it. They just assume it's bad because XYZ reasons. Other peeps I know who hated it (in the u.s) was because they disliked the Horde being in it.

Really hurt the movie in the long run when it came to the u.s, but it did great in every other country. It also did better than Pacific Rim worldwide by several thousand dollars. Not by MUCH but I find that interesting because PR got a sequel.
