I'm legitimately happy that heirlooms are no longer *required* for leveling. One thing I enjoyed about Classic WoW was the feeling of getting stronger as I leveled now it's back again in the version of WoW I actually care about.

For real its insane that having a set of upgraded hyper expensive gear for each type of armor is required to make levelling even halfway normal It was a bandaid introduced to deal with an increasingly bloated levelling system, fix the system and the looms are thankfully obsolete
