Chromatus: Blizz forgot about us. Galakrond: Yeah but they killed me off in a short novel...and partially retconned me. So you got lucky. OT: Galakrond would be enough to be a "Deathwing" but a better way to do it.

Considering Galakrond is heavily hinted at being an Old God minion I could totally see him and Chromatus revived by the Old Gods as a means to weaken the mortals before the arrival of the entire Black Empire from the Great Dark Beyond.

I honestly thought they were hinting at it with the Heart of Azeroth quest chain, Wrathion's return, the black and twilight flights returning on those Island Expeditions. Then there's the whole Dragon Isles that Wrathion was searching for that was hinted at too.

Don't forget we still will have to deal with Murozond our own timeline. The three of them together could make an incredible xpac, and the 4 or 5 Dragonflights could make great covenants.

Honestly, I'm hoping we put a stop to the birth of Murozond. Nozdormu is one of my favorite dragons left (after Wrathion) and was never the fan of the way they do away with him in Cataclysm.
