It's so bloody surreal how BfA made me like Jaina again. And made me officially dislike Sylvanas. Then you've got people out there who still like Sylvanas and still hate Jaina. It's a head ache.

...and then there's those who don't like either anymore, and thought the BfA character "development" of them was...not great.

Out of curiosity, what in BfA made you like Jaina and conversely, dislike Sylvanas? I assume from your statement that you liked Sylvanas before BfA, but correct that if it's wrong.

Stuff with Jaina was a lot to do with personal growth and finally getting to heal after suffering so much from the Horde and even relatives. Jaina finally started to feel like her old self again while also carrying the wisdom of the events of Theramore and Dalaran.

With Sylvanas, who was already on shaky ground as it is, I loved her in Wrath and parts of Cataclysm but for the most part, she was hit or miss. Legion I started to really like her because I thought they were pushing her more towards a Horde-like Sylvanas but that died in BfA.

I'm honestly more excited to see a Sylvanas who is a full-on Antagonist than a Sylvanas who is lying to us about being our ally. The role of a villain suits her more now. But it's this problem of flip-flopping of "Is she evil or is she good"? Just stick with one!

You hit the nail on the head as far as why I don't care for the Jaina story in BfA. Very flip-floppy character at this point and I didn't feel her heel-face turn in BfA was earned. I mean, she led an attack on a SOVEREIGN nation that wasn't part of the Horde at its outset.

I was talking about Sylvanas with the flip-floppy not Jaina...
