I feel like ya'll assume because [X Character] hates or dislikes [X Race] makes me instantly dislike them. Arthas was a dick but he was a villain. Guess what? Villains can be dicks and be cool.

I mean, disliking Sylvanas but not Arthas is like... He's maybe almost worst than her. He's also pretty much the reason for her fall from grace.

Arthas cannot be blamed for every single thing Sylvanas has done. Otherwise every Forsaken would be acting like her because they were killed and raised. Arthas did horrible things - that is what villains do but he paid for it with his life and was outted as a villain early on.

No, he's not responsible for all her actions purely. Sylvanas is an individual who makes her own decisions, clearly. That's stating the obvious. However, her fall from grace is largely on his hands. He's -the- reason she's down this path, because he ruined her entire life.

There's no doubt about that. But that doesn't mean someone cannot like a villain's story. They're not supposed to be good people and I'm not saying he is one.

Okay but what I'm saying is I don't get why you like Arthas when he largely did a lot of the stuff she did except he cared even less.

Arthas did many awful things and paid for it. Sylvanas did many awful things and hasn't paid for it. That's the difference between the two of them.

Arthas has paid for it, but the trauma and suffering he inflicted is still haunting us to this day. Similarly to where Sylvanas is of the day of now. I guess what I'd ask then, if Sylvanas got the justice she deserves -- would you like Sylvanas then like you do Arthas?
