Well the thing that makes me stop is usually a reason not to be invested anymore, so I don't care to watch till the end
I always find it weird when I hear somebody say, "I stopped watching a series after [blank]". Maybe it's because I like seeing how the entire show goes but I rarely ever stop watching a show even if it has a bunch of seasons. The exception being One Piece cause good god man.

Same here. I stopped watching the walking dead because I lost interest and didn't feel invested in the story anymore. But that and a few more cases are the rare exceptions
