And yeah. You're gonna keep hearing it from me till the end of time but Ashran sucked. Visually it had some great looks to it in some areas but I was not a fan of it as our capital and our main PvP place. I've never disliked a WoW zone as much as it.

Now I realise the divide with it: I came into the game during Legion. I never had to contend with Ashran as a current content hub; only as a free island to make RP events in, which it's a godsend for.

That makes sense. It's great for an RP hub given it's buildings and environment, etc. But when it was current content it was garbage. Maybe not to everyone but certainly to me. I don't exactly hate any of WoW's zones personally but I dislike what Ashran was.
