I swear it almost feels like every time Thrall is back in the story, the writers are making him extra sad and depressed. If I put my tinfoil hat on, it almost makes me think its intentional to differentiate the new team from the old team with Metzen at the head.
Well, prior to prior to the events of Legion mostly everything was going Thrall's way. But after he killed Garrosh in the Mak'gora things have gone downhill. - Vol'jin is dead - Sylvanas is ruining the Horde - He no longer can commune with the elements properly - Etc
