They broke up some time ago. I believe in Before the Storm actually.

best asking the story devs themselves instead of making assumptions as far as I could tell listening to before the storm via audiobook there was no mention of Jaina or Kalec it was more focused on sylvanas and the forsaken to my knowledge the mage & dragon are still an item.
