She's never going to be able to fully atone for what she did to the Sunreavers same for Sylvanas. But she's at least trying. It's gonna take a lot for anyone to ever even consider forgiving Sylvanas but Jaina it's a lot easier when she really only killed those who attacked her.

BfA was consequences for her actions? Shoot if consequences are rejoining her family getting to kill a King not being put on trial for her war crimes and killing of innocent people then sure let Sylvanas suffer Yeah I would like at least 1 character I care about left in the game
You should honestly think or consider about liking more than one character in WoW when there's a very large cast of characters who're great. That's on you if you only like one character in a video game and they're villain and they die.

I had a whole lot of favorites and they were killed as the game progressed. Some of them weren’t villains until they reappeared in the game without explanation. Sure, but I can still want them to not die and rejoin a faction because it wouldn’t be the first time for it happen.

Sylvanas isn't gonna rejoin the Horde. Best to rip that band-aid off while you can.
