Conquering death is absolutely a matter of great importance to any Forsaken. Not to mention, depending on the validity of the statement, "This world is a prison and I will set us all free", her efforts might be relevant to everyone on Azeroth.

Unleashing the entire rabid scourge on the rest of Azeroth, killing thousands of lives (children included) just to escape death and gain a shit ton of power isn't a proper excuse.

As far as I can tell, she didn't gain any power from shattering the veil. True she unleashed the scourge, which was being controlled by a guy who constantly threatened to unleash the scourge anyways.. But again, arrows in a quiver. Sylvanas will always sacrifice 49 if it saves 51

(Spoilers underway look away now.) Sylvanas gained the powers of the Helm by shattering it. She also gained powers by all deaths that came from the 4th War. Bolvar was constantly at battle with keeping the Scourge at bay & only released them recently on the Legion to help us.

Also when did he threaten to release the scourge on the planet to kill everybody? Because that never happened

Oh he absolutely did. In Legion, he contacts the Death Knights, lays out his plan to fight the Legion, and threatens to release the Scourge if they don't acquiesce

Yes, he does it because he wants them to help them fight the burning Legion. You frame it as if he randomly just threatens to do it. And you also claim it he did it multiple times. All of it is a lie. You have no idea what you’re even talking about

Well yea, and if he never threatened to release the scourge ever again, then you have a point. But are you certain that he's never do it again? How far do you think the Alliance would bend to avoid it?Sylvanas just ripped off the bandaide. Now we can deal with it once and for all

The Lich King *may* have been a threat in the future if Bolvar lost full control over it. However, Sylvanas didn't rip off a band-aid she broke a bridge and is now causing a flood. She's not helping - she's creating problems.

I have no doubt that once we enter the Shadowlands, we'll see that she is solving bigger problems than she's causing. We're uncovering a plot to unmake the universe afterall. That is definitely worse than releasing the scourge.

Whatever man I think you're delusional and the only band-aid that needs ripping is your's mate.

So here's the middle ground I think. IF, once Shadowlands is over, and we find out all of this was to stop the unmaking of the universe, then Sylvanas was right and no redemption is necessary. IF she is helping the unmaking, then I eat my words. Is that agreeable?
