well you can make the same argument for every allied race dwarfs should share dark iron dwarf customization options, same with gnomes and mecha gnomes, tauren and highmountain tauren etc. having options that you don't get adds more difference between races in my opinion
Orcs and Mag'har Orcs have more in common than those other races do. Certain races I think should definitely share hairstyles and other features but not all of them.

Hairstyles aren't what make a race to begin with. With Mag'har I'd think its, yknow, the uncorrupted skin and class selection. Dark Iron the fiery beards, Mechagnomes the... Mecha bits. More variety where it makes sense is the furthest thing from a problem.
