I think even with homophobia not in WoW I imagine Tess is worried or concerned about disappointing her father in some shape or form possibly with her alleged interests and choices. I'd like a nice moment of Genn just going, "Be who you want to be and not let me stop you."

I agree! I would love that, honestly, in whatever capacity. It would be nice to see Genn upend every fandom assumption and come through being very supportive of his daughter.

And just because Tess might lesbian doesn't stop her from other methods of having a child too. So an heir isn't impossible for the Gilnean family if that's something Genn is most worried about.
