Y'know call me crazy, but I really don't believe Argus the Unmaker is such a crucial plot point for every little thing about Warcraft's world.

Lowkey I wish Argus was actually a character in Legion or hell even in BfA/Shadowlands but in Legion he felt so out of the blue and I felt nothing when he's dealt with. This adds to the checkmark of reasons why Legion isn't perfect - it's good but the final boss is meh.

Agree. We could have been regaled with the legend of Argus all the way leading up to him and really feel the tragic aspect of having to defeat him. But they just relied on us caring because we are supposed to.

The Audio Drama helped to a degree of setting Argus up as a character but as the final Villain of Legion? It felt out of place. Maybe if Sargeras possessed him or something but otherwise Archimonde and KJ should've been the final bosses of Legion.

The only reason I can be into Argus as a Final Boss is that he is meant to present the threat of what WOULD be done to Azeroth.
