I just see a lot when it comes to this comment of Ion that a lot of people think he's just faking it or Blizzard is faking it. And I don't -fully- agree with that. And I think it's a tad nihilistic to think that way about everyone associated with Blizzard or Activision.

Honestly, I think it's more powerful that he said it here (in July) than saying it during June when it was most prominent. He really didn't have to (even though everyone should be saying it I don't see many doing that).

Look I think some of them believe it but how is it more powerful to NOT say it back when it was first reaching its peak but rather than a month later? lol That makes no sense.

Back in June they delayed the Panel (on June 9th) back when the Black Lives Matter protests were going on back when it was very common to see corporations speaking out and saying it. After May and June, you don't see corporations really talking about it anymore.

Yes its all corporate PR speak but somehow its better that Blizzard couldn't even be bothered to make that shallow proclamation back then and instead do it now awkwardly at the end of a stream?
