I just see a lot when it comes to this comment of Ion that a lot of people think he's just faking it or Blizzard is faking it. And I don't -fully- agree with that. And I think it's a tad nihilistic to think that way about everyone associated with Blizzard or Activision.
Honestly, I think it's more powerful that he said it here (in July) than saying it during June when it was most prominent. He really didn't have to (even though everyone should be saying it I don't see many doing that).
I think we shouldnt be very hyped for blizzard doing it, but Ion as an individual for sure. It was probably greenlit and whatever, but he didn't have to say anything, ye the did, which makes me happy
It’s hard to think the best of the companies themselves cause at then of the day they’ll chase profits but ion and the team I 100% support and don’t doubt for second their sincerity
