She still really didn't win. All of her plans that she tried to achieve went up in smoke during BfA. The only plan that really won out was people dying -- which is almost a guarantee during a war.

She has always been an antihero, and most likely will remain one. Of course, she was never an angel or classically "good". That would be ridiculous. But she has never been a pure villain, and she is not.
Sylvanas was always on the edge of Anti-Hero about to fall right into villain. By the end of Battle for Azeroth, she is very much a villain. The Cinematic Team did an extraordinary job of painting it very clear on her feelings about the Horde and Alliance.

In cinematics, "reckoning" - yes. Saurfang was the hero there. But in the trailer for SL, Sylvanas looks exactly like an anti-hero, not a villain, and this is what the creators of cinematics also emphasized.
