I think Allied Races are still a good thing but I do think people do tend to go that route way too bloody much. There's being realistic about an Allied Race and being unrealistic and with most of the Shadowlands races, they're being unrealistic.
Imagine being some blue angel in the Shadowlands for near eternity but you want to go hang with some mortals in Stormwind, doesn’t make sense.
I would like to see a return to the core race system where we get 2 races but instead of starting at level 20 or whatever, they get a full starting zone with a story and a capital. Not sure how that’s going to work with the new starter zone but hey
