I feel like talking about as I believe it's still pretty topical. In RP there were those (Orcs Roleplayers) who took things so much to the extreme that they basically shunned homosexual Orcs for various reasons. Saying along the lines of "stick with the old ways". (1/2)

I’ve never really seen this before. I can see the logic to both sides though, but I think it’s just kind of a preference. Maybe it’s not cultural, but might be fair to say orcs are *typically* straight for these reasons and some necessarily aren’t ooc, but rp homophobic orcs.

I don't really see a reason to be homophobic at all in RP. I can understand say hating someone for practicing necromancy or be a Warlock but for being gay? That's quite the stretch.

The reason seems simple to me. If you want your character to be dislikable, then this is a quick and easy way to do it.

I think even Gul'dan, Azshara and Sargeras wouldn't stoop that level of dislikability.
