The reason seems simple to me. If you want your character to be dislikable, then this is a quick and easy way to do it.
I think even Gul'dan, Azshara and Sargeras wouldn't stoop that level of dislikability.
Given the writing nature of Blizzard, you’re probably right. We don’t see dark and unsettling stuff like in other MMOs. I’ve never roleplayed this, but I’m pretty anti-blending so I can see the logic. Not liking the toon is one thing, but there’s only just a chance it’s ooc too.
But before this gets directed at me, I roleplay a gay relationship with my main character for two years now. Married for 1 of those. I’m just saying that if a writer wants you to dislike their toon, they did their job. And sadly, we got no canon rp guides. Velf one plz blizz.
