Especially when we already got plenty of CURRENT races that aren't playable yet when they should be.

I really don't think people should put their hopes up with the denizens of the Shadowlands becoming playable. I just can't see them leaving the Shadowlands and coming back with us to the Alliance or Horde. Just doesn't seem as likely.

I really wish it would stop with the want for them to be Allied Races. Why would literal angels who've earned their spot in the Shadowlands who other races from the entire cosmos of different planets that we dont even know go to Azeroth, leaving their world

Shadowlands races should absolutely not be playable when there are actual Azerothian races that still aren't. Ogres, Naga, Broken, hell even Ethereals and actual High Elves. These really shouldn't get a back seat for already established neutral denizens of the afterlife.

I can't see High Elves happening anymore. I know that might upset people but Void Elves getting the High Elf look was and is the safest and easiest thing to do.

Plus the denizens of the Shadowlands are all, well... Dead. The nonsense at Icecrown may have given present living (player champions included) a pass going there, but there could be laws preventing the-already-departed from returning to Azeroth.

I don't see the denizens as races since they seem like they are just some sort of spirit (be it a person's or just a spirit to begin with) and we know some act as spirit healers in the game already. I don't think we'd be able to even see them outside of shadowlands

As much as I love Venthyr and Fauns, yeah it wouldn't make sense for them to join the Alliance and Horde's conflicts.

I’d really rather they give us unlockable cosmetic traits from these races for current ones. Vampyr style customizations? Angel wing mount? Expanded skeletal and undead options? Moth\butterfly wings? Ect ect. Literal angels being playable is jumping the shark.

I think Allied Races are still a good thing but I do think people do tend to go that route way too bloody much. There's being realistic about an Allied Race and being unrealistic and with most of the Shadowlands races, they're being unrealistic.
