I put a lot more value into anime that have a clear beginning and ending. It can be multiple seasons sure, go for it, but knowing that an ending IS coming is valuable because otherwise it just turns into one piece where I couldn't possibly care less due to the length.
I know you're not the biggest fan of Naruto but I was honestly glad it ended where it did and that it concluded with him fulfilling his dreams and getting married. It was touching. But yeah I can't get into One Piece due to its length and the fact it's STILL GOING.

The reason I don't like it is exactly for that reason. Its so insanely goddamn long, even if you take out all the ridiculous amounts of filler.
