I don't know that that's fair. Despite where Sylvanas is now in the plot, there definitely wouldn't be a Forsaken without her. I have strong opinions on her, but I can certainly acknowledge Sylvanas has definitely done more than help them.
The most Sylvanas ever did was really free them and give them a purpose. Sure she continued them as a race but not all of them really got that choice to begin with. It doesn't help that she ensured that nobody would get their Final Deaths even if they wanted them.
