*Sigh* What establishes her as the Ruler of the Forsaken is Voss and the fact Calia cares about the Forsaken as a people and wants to help them. She didn't even want to rule the Forsaken until Voss brought the idea to her. We are literally having a Forsaken MC push for her role.

It's like you're literally being spoon-fed that Voss, a FORSAKEN, is the one who wants to make Calia the leader. It's not Calia running over and slamming her fist on the table and going "I am the leader now!" No, it's they're slowly setting her up with Voss.

I'm not arguing that in universe they're not making the forsaken go "yes, make her our leader." I'm arguing the choice makes little sense and is bad writing from a meta perspective. They could have Sylvanas abdicate to Calia and I'd still think it's bad.

Y'all aren't even giving her a chance. That's what is frustrating. For the longest time, the Forsaken have been problematic in the Horde and for the first time ever we're seeing changes done so that they cut that shit out. And the Forsaken players don't want it.--

The Forsaken have to change that's a big thing that the writers have to deal with Sylvanas gone. And before you say, "No they don't have to change." The Horde isn't going to put with them anymore if they do anything Sylvanas-like again. They have to change.

Yes, they do! They should change and grow out from her abusive cult of personality. They should have a leader who can relate to their pain intimately and can comfort them and help heal them through the trauma of what she turned them into.

Calia can do that. It's just that you guys keep setting up these credentials that she has to have been dead this long or be rejected. And it's not like she won't have advisers she clearly has Voss helping her, there's plenty of others who I am sure will follow suit.

Skoll, it's like having the choice of Saurfang or Geya'rah leading the green orcs and going "Ah, but she's an orc too and she cares for tradition." when the whole point is the green orcs have their own ptsd and stuff that needs a leader who represents that. Not to mention slavery

Garrosh was quite literally the leader of the orcs... And was quite literally in the very same position of Gey'erah. - Never was enslaved. - Spent most of his life on Draenor/Outlands. - Hated those that drank Mannoroth's blood. Garrosh didn't represent any of those traits.

If you're going to try and convince me that he was a good leader for the orcs I will weep. He's quite literally the reason the whole trope of bad warchiefs is even a thing

Garrosh was a good leader for the Orcs. Not the whole & entire Horde. Garrosh cared deeply about his people the problem was he only cared about them & didn't see peace as a viable option with the Alliance. If Calia was made Warchief this would be a different discussion entirely.
